Children’s Music Included in Flow Festival’s Sunday Program
The Flow Festival, organized in Suvilahti, Helsinki, from 12th to 14th of August, is welcoming the youngest of the family to enjoy the atmosphere on Sunday afternoon. Children aged 6 years or under can come to Flow for free with their parent’s ticket. This year Flow offers also a wider range of children’s music on its Back Yard stage.
In a performance lined up just for Flow, the Finnish known artists Janna, Tommy Lindgren, Felix Zenger and Tommi Lindell sing “Flow versions” of Ipanapa children songs. The other children’s afternoon live performer is the duo Hurjat Silmät, formed by siblings Alma (9 years old) and Tuure (7 years old). Quoting the duo’s own words they are a “fun and imaginative” band that sings self written songs of travelling, everyday life and fairy tale places.
The DJ in charge of music on the Back Yard stage on Sunday afternoon is Timo Tietenkin, whom is responsible for the popular Brunssinen childern’s events at the Siltanen restaurant. The playlist includes children’s songs from several decades.
