Tuska Open Air Metal Festival taking place at Suvilahti, Helsinki, Finland during July 22.-24. has announced Amon Amarth as their Sunday 24 July headliner. The Tuska show will be the exclusive Amon Amarth festival show in Scandinavia in summer 2011. The band is about to release their highly anticipated “Surtur Rising” album.
In addition to the Swedish vikings, Finnish Turisas and Omnium Gatherum have been added to the bill for next summer. The new fourth stage presenting more marginal Artists has Finnish black metal pioneer Black Crucifixion and psychedelic black metallers Oranssi Pazuzu added to the line up. More announcements will be made later.
The festival announces also that Bay Area thrash legend Exodus have been forced to cancel their appearance at TUSKA 2011.
