| American folk rock / indie pop band Woods will pay their first visit to Finland late March. The band will perform at Kuudes Linja, Helsinki on March 27 with up-and-coming domestic indie band Black Twig.
Founded in Brooklyn in 2005 by vocalist / guitarist Jeremy Earl and multi instrumentalist Jarvis Tavenier, Woods are one of the leading lo-fi indie names of the new millennium. The band broke through with their 2009 album "Songs of Shame" which was followed by acclaimed "At Echo Lake" last May. Previously, Woods have toured with the likes of Dungen, No Age, Real Estate and Kurt Vile.
