The Swedish power metal and melodic death metal combining Amaranthe tours Finland in March and the same month comes out the band’s second album. The round begins with Helsinki on Friday 8.3. and continues on through Seinäjoki, Kuopio, Tampere and Turku reaching Jyväskylä on the next Friday.
Amaranthe, formed in 2008, released its debut album in 2011. The record became a success in Finland and the band’s first Finnish tour in January 2012 drew hundreds of Amaranthe fans to the concerts. Also the last summer’s festival gigs in Oulu, Kokkola and Vantaa showed that the band was a wanted visitor. In the center of Amaranthe sounds the voice of the singer Elize Ryd who brings freshness to the band’s music that also presents more growling male singing. In all, the heavy music of Amaranthe is elaborate and effective.
After the gigs in Finland Amaranthe heads off for Europe where it tours together with Stratovarius in eleven countries.
