Volt Festival and Balaton Sound at Hungary

In addition to Sziget Festival, organised on August 8-15 at Budapest, Hungary offers two great summer festivals earlier in summer. Volt Festival will be held from June 26 to July 2 and Balaton Sound on July 7-10.

Held at Sopron, Hungary, about 200 kilometers from Budapest on June 26 to July 7, Volt Festival offer four days of great live shows on 15 stages. The festival has confirmed acts such as My Chemical Romance, 30 Seconds To Mars, Moby, Sum 41, Pendulum, Asian Dub Foundation, The Ting Tings, Crookers, Dub FX, House Of Pain, Primus, Monster Magnet, Emir Kusturica & The No Smoking Orchestra and Nouvelle Vague.

One week after Volt, Balaton Sound will shake the beaches at Zamárdi on July 7-10, approx. 100 kilometers from Budapest. Especially the party for electronic music lovers, acts such as Tiesto, Snoop Dogg,  Portishead, Mika, Big Boi, Underworld, David Guetta, Luciano, Jeff Mills, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Ricardo Villalobos, Fedde Le Grand, John Digweed, The Orb, Thievery Corporation, Armin Van Buuren and Simian Mobile Disco will make the festival audience dance.
