This year the annual Trash Fest will be bigger than ever. The event, held between the 5th and 5th of October at Gloria club in Helsinki, will gather rock bands from six different countries. The main stars are the Swedish greatness Deathstars and the Italian Dope Stars Inc. On Saturday night the festival will climax with Mama Trash All Stars ensemble.
The American promoter and street team guru Mama Trash is the person operating behind Trash Fest. Mama Trash has used a great share of her life promoting bands and bringing fans together. She is also known to be a huge friend of Finnish bands. The work has borne fruit and nowadays the bands under the protection of Mama Trash form a close community with their fans called “Mama Trash Family”.
