The program of Monsters of Pop festival has been completed with two interesting new Finnish artists: on the place of the cancelled Cats On Fire on Friday, September the 21st on the stage of Telakka will rise the Tiiu Helinä duo that has been causing a huge buzz.
Another addition is the fresh Helsinki based band Pimeys that will perform at Telakka on Saturday, Semptember the 22nd. The band will be releasing a debut album in 2013 but their this summer’s single “Elämä kiinnostaa” is one of the most played tracks on Radio Helsinki.
Monsters of Pop also organizes warm up clubs in Helsinki and Tampere. The “false start” at Tampere will be held at Klubi on Tuesday, September the 18th with Mick Harvey, Antero Lindgren and DJ Antti H. The warm up party in Helsinki will be held on Thursday at Tavastia with French Films, Razika and Thulebasen.
