Next year’s Tuska Open Air Metal Festival, organized in Suvilahti, Helsinki between the 28th and the 30th of June 2013 has announced more artists.
On Sunday, June the 30th, Suvilahti will be taken over by Finland’s biggest metal band of all time, Nightwish. The band has just recently gone through a change in the singer position as the Dutch Floor Jansen took over the place in the group. The reports from the tour claim that the band sounds tighter than ever. With the soon premiering movie “Imaginaerum” and the new singer the band shall begin their greatest chapter so far.
Another addition to the festival program is the Norwegian avant garde and black metal phenomenon Ihsahn, whose latest album “Eremita”, was released this year to critical acclaim. The band was last seen at Tuska in 2010 and now it returns for Friday of Tuska 2013. Another Norwegian band, the progressive group Leprous also been added to the bill of Friday night.
Earlier confirmed for Tuska of summer 2013 are King Diamond, Testament, Bolt Thrower and Children of Bodom. More band announcement upcoming during the autumn.
