| American metal bands Black Tusk and Howl will arrive in Finland next year. The bands will perform at Tavastia, Helsinki on February 26 and at Klubi, Tampere the following night. Tickets will be available on Thursday December 9.
Founded in Savannah in 2005, Black Tusk's swamp metal combines sludge, doom and hardcore punk. The band's sophomore album "Taste The Sin" was released earlier this year and it has been critically appraised all around the world. Black Tusk's music originates from somewhere between their hometown fellows Mastodon, Baroness and Kylesa, and the legendary sludge metal band Eyehategod. Currently the band are touring in the U.S. with Crowbar and previously they have shared stages with the likes of Fu Manchu and Buzzov-en.
Founded in 2006, doom/sludge foursome Howl were one of the most talked about metal names in South By Southwest 2010. The band's music is a combination of elements of High On Fire, Soilent Green and Sleep. Howl's debut album "Full Of Hell" was released in May and the band are currently touring in the U.S. with Every Time I Die.
