American blues and rock star singer-guitarist Johnny Winter arrive to Finland in Autumn. Having released his first album already in 1968 Johnny Winter performs at Tavastia, Helsinki on Wednesday September 7. Tickets will be available on Thursday March 31.
One of the biggest guitar legends of our time Johnny Winter founded his first band when he was only 15 years old in 1959. Since then he has toured the world and worked with many talented musicians. His debut album "Johnny Winter" was released in end of 1968 and the next year he performed in many rock festivals including Woodstock. Winter works also as a producer and has producer two grammy-winning albums for Muddy Waters. Also Winter's three own albums have been Grammy-nominated, for example album ”I’m A Bluesman” (2004). Winter is working on a new album at the moment, to be released this year.
