Joshua Tillman was earlier known as solo artist J. Tillman, and until
last January he also played drums in indie/folk group Fleet Foxes.
Nowadays he has a new alias: Father John Misty. The artist will be playing at Tavastia, Helsinki on 11th of November. The tickets for the concert will be on sale on monday the 2nd of July.
In January this year Fleet Foxes long-time drummer Joshua Tillmann announced his departure from the band in order to fully focus on his solo career. The artist has previously acclaimed fame with his solo material and has been praised as an excellent drummer, remarkable guitarist, a beautiful singer and as an excellent singer-songwriter.
Father John Misty's debut album "Fear Fun" (Sub Pop / Bella Union
Records) was released in April, but actually it was Tillman's eight solo
record. In May Father John Misty played in Primavera Sound festival and
in November he will arrive in Finland for the first time.
