One of the most succesful hard rock groups Cinderella arrive to Finland for the first time and perform at Nosturi, Helsinki on Tuesday June 21. Tickets for the band's 25th Anniversary tour concert will be available on Monday March 21.
Cinderella was founded in early 1980's at Philadelphia and their most famous line-up was created in 1986 when singer-guitarist Tom Keifer and bassist Eric Brittingham were accompanied by guitarist Jeff labar and drummer Fred Coury. Same year the band released their multiplatinum selling debut album "Night Songs". Soon after "Night Songs" the Cinderella warmed up the likes of David Lee Roth and Bon Jovi. Their succesful sophmore album ”Long Cold Winter” was released in 1998.
In the 90's Cinderella had sold almost 20 million copies and the band was seeking inspiration from blues instead of glam and hard rock. At the same time their career was slowing down and the following albums ”Hearbreak Station” and ”Still Climbing” were not such big hits inspite of their impressive sales figures. After a decade of silence the band got more fame when touring with the likes of Poison and Scorpions and last year Cinderella headlined Sweden Rock and Download festivals. At the moment Cinderella tour the world on their 25th Anniversary.
