Founded by Niklas Kvarforth in 1996 at Hamstad, black metal group Shining arrive at Henry's Pub, Kuopio on Friday May 13 and perform at Nosturi, Helsinki on Saturday May 14.
Shining started their career as a more traditional metal band and has become one of the most controversial extreme metal groups. Shining combine beautiful soundworld with dark lyrics full of despair and self-destruction and the band was just signed to Spinefarm Records. Their newest album ”VII: Född Förlorare” will be released on May 11. Known for impressive and almost brutal live shows, Shining will be supported by domestic Chthonian and Horna at Nosturi.
