Alternative rock group Filter arrive at Finland in June. Their leading figure Richard Patrick gained his fame by touring with Nine Inch Nails and performs with Filter at Dom, Helsinki on Friday June 17. Tickets will be available on Thursday March 31.
Patrick founded the group with Brian Liesegang in 1993 after separating from Nine Inch Nails. Their debut album "Short Bus" was released in 1995 and their single "Hey man, nice shot" brought Filter to the bigger audience. Their single "Take a Picture" from sophomore album "Title of Record" became a huge hit making Filter one of the biggest alternative names in the 90's. The band has released five studio albums, their latest "The Trouble with Angels" in 2010. Filter's music can also be heard in many soundtracks.
