The Jamaican musical promise Mikayala Simpson, known as Koffee, will be seen on stage at Flow Festival on Friday the 9th of August. The nineteen-year-old new wave reggae artist wants to preserve the Jamaican cultural heritage and to empower the youth of her generation all around the world. Further, Koffee’s music has been influenced by the sociopolitical challenges of Jamaica.
The pop-phenomenon Alma thrills Flow with a special set, performing songs from her long-awaited debut album for the first time at Flow on Saturday the 10th of August. The album itself will be published soon after the show, and its first single Lonely Night will be out on the 21st of June. As Finland’s most cutting-edge pop star, Alma is recognisable from her neon green hair, diamond-sharp attitude, and a voice that cannot be forgotten once it is heard. In her music, Alma mixes classic pop tunes with elements of rap and soul, drawing inspiration from her real-life experiences.
On Sunday the 11th of August, the multitalented Chisu will take the stage with her new and different, visually impressive show. At Flow, Chisu will perform all the songs off of her fifth studio album, Momentum 123. The album was published in the spring of 2019 as a trilogy divided into thematically separate EPs.
