The American deathcore group Whitechapel, named after the London district with a dark history, will play two shows in in Finland in February 2027. The band will perform at Tavara-asema in Tampere on February 26, and the following day, February 27, the earth will rumble at Ääniwalli in Helsinki.
Founded in 2006, the Tennessee-based band has always been among the absolute top tier of its genre, and they were recently seen supporting Lorna Shore for their Finnish dates. Whitechapel crafts its deathcore with a strongly progressive edge, and the band members’ personal influences from death metal and hardcore clearly shine through. The band recently released its ninth studio album, ”Hymns in Dissonance”.
Completing this extremely heavy touring package are Sylosis from England, who move between different metal subgenres, American death metal powerhouse 200 Stab Wounds, and fellow American death metallers Tribal Gaze.
