Tavara-asema is the newest addition to the cultural scene of Tampere. The new concert and events venue with a capacity for more than 1 000 people is located right next to the railway station.

This historical former freight station is easily modifiable to house corporate events, trade fairs, festivals, conferences, private functions, and many other kinds of events.

Tavara-asema is part of Tampereen Kulttuurikamari Oy, which also manages Tullikamari, currently undergoing renovations.
