The hugely acclaimed synthpop duo Hurts will be performing in Helsinki Jäähalli this fall on Saturday, October 15th. The ticket sale starts on Tuesday, the 16th of August.
Hurts has risen to great success in only just a year. Their debut album
“Happiness” came out last fall and rose almost instantly to be the
fastest selling British debut album. The band has been touring actively
since the beginning: they’ve played
as far as Japan and performed as support for Scissor Sisters on their
Great Britain tour. The single “Sunday”, released this year, has gained a
lot of radio
airtime and continued on the same successful route as the band’s earlier
hit titles “Better than Love” and “Wonderful Life”. The Finnish fans
don’t seem to get enough of the band either: the
concerts last August and January both sold out quickly and their
performance at Ruisrock festival gained a huge audience. In October
Finland will once more get to enjoy the music of Hurts, this time under
the roof of Helsinki Jäähalli.
