Known for their melodic punk rock and 80's hardcore vibes, the American band Night Birds arrives to Finland for the first time. One of the hottest new punk bands ends their European tour at Kuudes Linja, Monday 11th of August. The opening act for the evening, Ydinperhe, plays a key role in the domestic hardcore punk scene. Concert tickets go on sale Thursday, 3rd of April.
Founded in New Jersey in the spring of 2009, Night Birds is known for fast paced and surf -influenced punk rock that brings to mind classic Californian 80's hardcore bands from Circle Jerks to Dead Kennedys. The band of four from the east coast of the United States within the couple year career has released two full-length albums, "The Other Side of Darkness" (2011) and "Born to Die in Suburbia” (2013), as well as joint recordings with bands such as Good Riddance. In the near future, Night Birds, which has released material through Grave Mistake Records and Fat Wreck material, will perform together with bands such as NOFX and All.
