The weather is getting chillier and the days darker this time of year, but there are lots of good gigs and events all over Finland during the week to keep you warm and sunny!
In Helsinki, you can see the noisy american punk band Lecherous Gaze together with the local band Ranger today at Kuudes Linja. On Wednesday at Storyville there's an album release party by The Luxury Liner whose music is a combination of good old country and roots music.
On Thursday you can witness a movie premier at Bio Rex showing Antti Autti's snowboarding documentary "Approach & Attack". The afterparty is held at Bar Loose featuring the finnish psychedelic rock group Death Hawks. Friday offers two great upcoming and interesting finnish acts, young rock'n'roll band Santa Cruz at Tavastia-club and a singer with a killer attitude Manna with her new album "Blackbird" at Kulttuuritehdas Korjaamo.
During the weekend there's an antique and art fair at Wanha Satama.
On Saturday the industrial metal duo from New York, Hanzel und Gretyl, comes to win over the hearts of the people at On The Rocks, and you can catch them already on Thursday if you happen to be in Kuopio at Henry's Pub.
Finnish progressive metal group Amorphis is playing two gigs this week, on Friday at Ravintola Kerubi in Joensuu and on Saturday November 1st at Lutakko, Jyväskylä.
In Tampere, it's all about Jazz. During the weekend of Tampere Jazz Happening 2014 you can enjoy various gigs at Pakkahuone, Klubi and Telakka.
And in Turku there's a whole different scene with hard dance music hosted by FINRG and House of Hard Music at Klubi on Saturday.
