Zamárdi 

Zamárdi is located on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, near Siófok. The easiest way to get to Zamárdi is by car. Since Zamárdi is only 110 km from Budapest, you can get there within an hour on the M7 motorway. (Note that the M7 motorway ends at Zamárdi.)
It is also easy to get to the Balaton Sound Festival by train or by bus.
For detailed timetables visit www.elvira.hu for trains and www.volan.hu for buses. For those of you coming from the northern shore of Balaton, we recommend you to take the ferry. Boats from Tihany to Szántód leave every 40 minutes.
