Trio Libre is a dynamic piano trio comprising three outstanding musicians who are rapidly establishing themselves among Finland’s leading performers on the international stage: violinist Rebecca Roozeman, cellist Artturi Aalto and pianist Anton Mejias. In addition to their exceptional expressive power and masterful command of their instruments, the three share a strong artistic vision of chamber music, reflected also in their work as artistic directors of the Kamarikesä Chamber Music Festival in Helsinki. The name Libre, meaning “free”, embodies the trio’s commitment to making music without boundaries, grounded in deep mutual trust and a strong individual artistic identity. Each member has achieved remarkable success both in Finland and internationally, as a soloist and chamber musician.
