
Timo Kämäräinen is a versatile musician best known for his multidimensional guitar playing. In addition to his work as a guitarist, he has written numerous songs and composed instrumental music. Over the course of his career, Kämäräinen has worked extensively as a freelancer, with styles ranging from rock and modern jazz to contemporary music performed with large orchestras.
Kämäräinen has also composed music for other artists and worked as an artistic producer on several recordings. In the field of theatre, he has created music for, among others, three plays by Kristian Smeds. His most recent theatre project was the critically acclaimed production of Hamlet, directed by Samuli Reunanen at the Finnish National Theatre, for which Kämäräinen composed and performed the music. In addition to his musical contribution, he also appeared on stage in the role of Horatio. He has also composed music for films and television series.
His new album Laulu pelastaa was released on November 28, 2025, by Lördag. On this album, Timo Kämäräinen steps forward as an artist and vocalist, as well as a master of timeless and ambitious pop songwriting. Laulu pelastaa is his first Finnish-language album released under his own name.
