The Munsons is a duo formed by Tommi Viksten and Melrose’s Tokela, giving the longtime friends a chance to play and sing the music they love. Their repertoire includes country, rockabilly, western swing, rhythm ’n’ blues, hillbilly, rock’n’roll, 1950s pop, as well as more unconventional material such as ZZ Top and Queens of the Stone Age. Most of the songs are performed with two-part vocal harmonies, accompanied by two guitars — usually one acoustic and one electric. The band has been active since 2005 and has performed gigs all around Finland.
