Penniless – Anola 25v-juhlakeikka + Tomi Nordlund & Syvä Joki

Penniless celebrates the 25th anniversary of their classic album Anola at G Livelab. Opening the evening will be Tomi Nordlund & Syvä Joki!

Anola is Penniless’ cult classic album, originally released in 2001. On October 23, Tampere-based record label Soit Se Silti will release Anola on vinyl for the first time. To celebrate the album, Penniless will play a handful of special shows featuring songs from Anola as well as other key hits from the band’s extensive career.

Tomi Nordlund & Syvä Joki was formed in Tampere in the summer of 2013. Nordlund spent many years playing in English-language bands (including Futone, Cry Bar, The Ghost of Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, and Men On the Moon plays R.E.M.), but eventually decided to see what it would feel like to write his own music in Finnish. The band has released four studio albums, the latest being Hyvää seuraa, released in 2025.
