OAF 2026 international guest artist Susanne Brokesch (USA) will perform at the Pertin Valinta Stage on August 22, 2026. The second artist of the evening is guitarist Lauri Hyvärinen.
Susanne Brokesch is a New York-based artist who has released music on legendary labels such as Cheap Records, Disko-B, and Sähkö Recordings. In this rare Finnish performance, electronic experimentalism intertwines with melancholic folk and fractured blues tones.
Lauri Hyvärinen is a sound artist and musician whose primary instrument and sound source is the guitar. In Hyvärinen’s performances, free improvisation and minimalism are combined with precise compositional thinking. Through these methods, he explores the music for a strong, shared experience of presence and space.
