Mr. Bo & The Voodooers return to Finland for their third tour! The band belongs undoubtedly to the most respected bands of the Swedish blues scene. Bo Carlsson founded the Voodooers in 1996, but before this he had already become loved by the public with his bands Mr Bo Blues Band, Mr Bo & The Boosters and Nightcats.
Bo's warm and intense singing voice and his original and powerful guitar sound have quickly elevated all his bands to the crowd's favourite bands. Besides Bo, Lars Mellqvist (bass), Roger Mörck (drums) and Bo Hansson (Hammond organ) play in the Voodooers.
Both Bo and his bandmates have been recognized many times with the Swedish Blues festival awards. In 1998, Bo received Sweden's most significant blues award at the Åmål Blues Festival - he was the second recipient of the award. In 2020, Mr Bo was voted Guitarist of the Year by the listeners of the popular Bluespodden. In later years, both Lars Mellqvist and Bo Hansson from the ranks of the Voodooers have also been selected as recipients of the Åmål Blues Award.
The evening is opened by Micke & Lefty feat. Chef! Micke Björklöf and Lefty Leppänen, together with Chef Kivimäki, form one of Europe's most exciting acoustic blues and roots music bands today.
The trio has entertained and captivated audiences with their energetic gigs in both small clubs and large festivals around Europe.

If the event is not sold out, there will be student tickets available at the door for 25 € each (student tickets not sold online) before the show starts. Please show your student card when purchasing student tickets. The concert has no age limit. Children under school age can enter gigs free of charge.
The event is a seated concert for the most part.
