Mika Maijala - levynjulkaisukonsertti & 60-vuotisjuhlakonsertti
Known as a founding member of A. Aallon Rytmiorkesteri and a stylish guitarist, Mika Maijala will celebrate both his first solo album and his 60th birthday in November. On Saturday, November 21, at G Livelab Tampere, the songs from the new album will be performed live for the first time, alongside some of A. Aalto’s most beloved songs.
For his solo album and release concert, Maijala has assembled a top-class band. Joining Maijala himself (guitar and vocals) on stage will be drummer Anssi Nykänen, bassist Harri Rantanen, keyboardist Tuomas Kesälä, and Maijala’s own son, guitarist Mi Maijala. Other well-known musicians will also make appearances during the evening.
It promises to be a unique evening filled with new music and familiar A. Aalto favorites. Come and celebrate Mika Maijala’s 60 years and the beginning of his new solo career!
