Jimi Tenor is a pioneer of Finnish weirdness, which in his musicsmoothly jumps from experimental rock and jazz to psychedelic All the way to soul and funk. Tenor already made a career in the 1980s with the band Jimi Tenor & His Shamans but rose to worldwide cult popularity in the following decade also as a solo artist. The latest manifestations of his extensive production are the "Is there Love in Outer Space" album, released in May 2024, and the "Bodily Synesthesia" album, made almost simultaneously with the Italian band Aura Safari. Jimi Tenor performs with the current Jimi Tenor Band.
