The classic Finnish blues-rock band Honey B & T-Bones has returned from a recording hiatus - this time with music in Finnish. The singles released in spring, Vanha suru (“Old Sorrow”) and Se tunne (“That Feeling”), deal with intergenerational, unprocessed trauma as well as addiction. The band will release a fully Finnish-language album in autumn 2026. Their live shows will also feature familiar English-language Honey B & T-Bones material, now enhanced by saxophonist Jimi Ahlroos.
In the quartet led by founding members Aija Puurtinen and Esa Kuloniemi, the rhythm section grooves with both finesse and, when needed, raw power: drums are played by their son Mooses Kuloniemi, and the bassist is Pekka Rajamäki. Aija Puurtinen’s distinctive vocals and Esa Kuloniemi’s richly textured guitar work form the core of the band’s sound, just as they have from the very beginning. The band’s fearless experimentation across multiple genres creates a breathing, layered soundscape—mature in tone and cohesive as a whole.
The concert has an intermission.
Cloakroom fee 3 € included in the ticket price.
