HMBD festival is coming again with its lovely force, once again bringing some of Norway’s hottest bands to Finland for their first-ever gigs!
The eighth Helsinki Must Be Destroyed festival, aka HMBD, has established itself as the greatest indoor guitar music festival of the beginning of the year, and once again the line-up is full of super great bands! The festival’s main concerts will take place over two days on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th February 2027 at On The Rocks in the center of Helsinki!
The festival’s headliners are the Norwegian bands AKTIV DÖDSHJELP and EXPLODING HEAD SYNDROME! These are the first performances of both bands in Finland, and both gigs will be highly anticipated highlights of punk and hardcore in 2027.
In addition to Aktiv Dödshjelp and Exploding Head Syndrome, the festival will feature the German beatpunk group The Go Faster Nuns, outrageous and dirty boogie powerhouse Satanen, footstomping action rock band Fuzzkills, raw but tender punk Naakan Kosto and the boogie-infused, ska-boosted Flophouse Phonics from Helsinki. Vaasa-based turborock messiahs Grillijono K.O. will play a release show for their new album.
