Free Carmen for two special shows – Beekeeping can only be heard at G Livelab!
Free Carmen will wrap up their Solstice tour abroad this autumn before returning home towards the end of the year with new music. The band’s five-track EP, Beekeeping, will be released on November 27.
Only two special concerts will be held to celebrate the new release. The band will take the stage at G Livelab in Helsinki on December 9, followed by a show in Tampere the very next evening, December 10.
Released in 2025, Solstice I and Solstice II formed the two halves of Free Carmen’s first full-length record. Blending organic musicianship with elements of alternative rock and folk, the band has since taken their music from stages across Finland to international audiences, supporting acts including Black Country, New Road and Razorlight along the way.
The G Livelab shows offer a rare chance to hear the new material performed live: two concerts, two cities – and for now, no more are planned.
Opening both evenings is Miles Altimera (Väinö Karjalainen, Mathias Hermansson), Finnish craftsmanship in alt-rock form. The band’s unique sound brings together warm tones, honest songwriting and two big hearts. Their live shows combine the rock-solid skills of an outstanding lineup with a true gift for musical storytelling. The band moves you, makes you laugh and, above all, makes you believe in music again.
Cloakroom fee 3 € included in the ticket price.
