Founded in Helsinki in 1994, Eternal Erection is one of the pioneers of Finnish funk, best known for its energetic live performances. The band has released six studio albums, a live album, an EP, as well as numerous singles and music videos. Their latest album, It’s Easy, was released in 2014. Eternal Erection has been on an indefinite live hiatus since 2018, but will returned to the stage in 2025.
Stylistically, Eternal Erection’s music is rooted in Black rhythm music traditions (such as Sly & The Family Stone, George Clinton, James Brown, and Prince), while also drawing influences from pop, rock, hip hop, and jazz.
The concert has an intermission.
