The Finnish drum & bass scene is getting a long-awaited new cornerstone as the brand-new club concept Emergent launches on Friday, 18 September, at the unique Museum of Technology in Helsinki’s historic Old Town.

Emergent is dedicated to what matters most in the genre: deep, uncompromising, and authentic underground drum & bass. Behind the concept are three respected figures from the scene: veteran D&B pioneer and DJ Physics, dark electronic music innovator and Signature Dark label owner Aleksi Myllykoski, and the versatile DJ Mihut, who has been involved in numerous projects.

Emergent is devoted to the deepest shades of the genre and will bring internationally acclaimed drum & bass artists to Finland while also showcasing the very best of the country’s homegrown talent.

Room 1: Rebel Music Stage

The main room will be hosted by the highly respected UK drum & bass collective Rebel Music, delivering a heavyweight selection of deep, dark, rolling sounds straight from the heart of the genre, accompanied by immersive, hypnotic visuals.
