Kampin Laulu Chamber Choir’s Good Friday concert invites the audience to pause and reflect in the atmosphere of the day. The programme presents a varied selection of Good Friday music spanning from the Renaissance to the present day, with works by composers including Antonio Lotti, Tomás Luis de Victoria, John Tavener and Mikko Sidoroff. The concert will also feature J. S. Bach’s beloved motet Jesu, meine Freude.
In addition to Kampin Laulu, the concert features Jari Koivistoinen (organ) and Veera Luomala (cello). The concert is conducted by Kampin Laulu’s Artistic Director, Saara Aittakumpu.
