Aukusti Koivisto is a Finnish singer-songwriter who blends elements of American roots music with Finnish schlager and pop. His passion for a traditional, vintage-inspired sound is clearly reflected in his music, while his guitar-driven style has attracted listeners particularly through extensive radio airplay, including on Yle Radio Suomi.
Over the course of six years, Koivisto has released four independently produced albums, the latest of which, Toisessa elämässä, was released in spring 2026. In Koivisto’s music, light and happiness intertwine with a hazy sense of melancholy, creating a timeless and relatable musical journey for listeners. Koivisto performs with a band of skilled musicians rooted in the traditions of roots music.
