Female Choir KYN

Finland's frontrow women's choir KYN is known for its expressive performance and actively renewing Finnish choral music. The choir has been extremely successful in domestic and foreign competitions and has performed as a main performer at domestic and foreign festivals.
The repertoire of the Yhdessä - Tillsammans concert consists of the works of two composers close to KYN, Anna-Mari Kähärä and Anders Edenroth. Some of the compositions and arrangements have been commissioned by KYN. The composers are united by the solid relationship between text and music, storytelling and strong harmonies. The works bring light to the darkening September evening.
The concert is a part of the Kuoromusiikin kausikonsertit series.
