The Hong Kong Children's Choir (HKCC) was founded in 1969 as the first children's choir in Hong Kong and a registered non-profit-making charitable organization.
HKCC has made tremendous contributions for children's arts training in Hong Kong. It is now the biggest choir in the world with over 5,000 members and has grown into a diversified arts organization for children.
HKCC is invited to perform overseas each year, spreading the message of love and peace in different parts of the world.
This summer, HKCC first visits Tallinn, Estonia to participate in "EUROPA CANTAT" for the third time since 2006 and 2015. After the festival, the choristers then visit Finland and co-present a full concert with Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, London at Helsinki Hall, Finlandia Hall on 6 August.
Works from both the west and the east, including the HKCC 50th Anniversary Theme Song I Just Want to Sing by Hong Kong composer Dr Steve Ho and Children of Light by Singaporean composer Darius Lim will be premiered in Finland.
