Steve Gunn is recognized for his indie, psych folk and Americana recordings. The singer-songwriters new artistic partner is pianist David Moore. They’ve recorded a collaborative album Let the Moon Be a Planet, which is a improvised dialogue of guitar and piano. Meditative and minimal yet rich in detail.
The evening will be opened by Vaisu Luksus, which is a junkyard of Jukka Nousiainen and Janne Laurila's more experimental ideas, from which emerge sometimes kraut-inspired guitar improvisations, sometimes drone, from time to time tape music and occasionally organ compositions. The ensemble, based on free association, suggestive composition and interactive listening, rarely performs.
