G Livelab hosts a great night of soul, funk and R'n'B with Punomo and Rosettes!
Punomo is an eight-piece soul band whose unique vintage sound combines aesthetics strongly based on the traditions of soul and funk music with Finnish lyrics in an unprecedentedly natural and engaging way. This combination feels delightfully fresh.
Behind Punomo's music are the band's drummer Lauri Levanto and singer Johanna Rauma. The band has released albums Punomo (2022) and Kahdeksan kertaa (2025).
The evening will be opened by Rosettes. Rosettes is a band founded in Helsinki in early 2021, whose influences come from a wide range of rhythmic music genres. The band members have backgrounds in alternative, hardcore and indie bands, for example. Rosettes combines a do-it-yourself mentality with the groove of soul and R’n’B and a jazzy atmosphere. The bands debut album Lifestyles was released in April.
