Jimi Tenor is a pioneer of Finnish weirdness, which in his music smoothly jumps from experimental rock and jazz all the way to psychedelic soul and funk. Tenor already made a career in the 1980s with the band Jimi Tenor & His Shamans but rose to worldwide cult popularity in the following decade also as a solo artist.
The latest manifestations of his extensive career are the "Is there Love in Outer Space" album, released in May 2024, and the "Bodily Synesthesia" album, made almost simultaneously with the Italian band Aura Safari.
Jimi Tenor performs at G Livelab with the current Jimi Tenor Band.
