In the fall of 2024, the world's best Lapland-Balkan music orchestra released its seventh long piece entitled Äyskäri! The album was a production reboot into the acoustic worlds of the band's first albums, but with the playing skill and self-confidence accumulated over fifteen years.
The songs have been composed by all the members of the orchestra, and they reflect diverse influences filtered through each artist's persona, the lyrics have also strayed far from the wistful love songs of the first albums to spheres that reach even towards outer space, flickering the rough edges of reality, without forgetting the personal, and all of this has been arranged in the new and unique Väära Raha - sound. The orchestra's main musical inspiration is always the Balkans, even though the spices and seasonings have been taken from anywhere and everywhere!
Most of all, the band is known for its ecstatic concerts, and its reputation has been maintained all over Finland with 70 concerts a year, not forgetting foreign countries, where Väärä Raha has already been heard at concerts in more than 20 different countries. So it's time to tie a bow, put on your dancing shoes and throw yourself into the whirlwind of Lapland-Balkan music!
