Blockfest, the largest hip-hop festival in Nordic countries takes place on the 16th & 17th of August 2024 in the heart of Tampere (Ratina stadium), Finland. The festival is known for its excellent line-ups, special performances, and its unique atmosphere. In previous years, Playboi Carti, Metro Boomin, Akon, Lil Uzi Vert, 50 Cent, Jack Harlow, Central Cee, Wu-Tang Clan, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Nas, Post Malone, A$AP Rocky, Juice WRLD, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, G-Eazy and many others have performed at the festival.

When Blockfest was created back in 2008, hip hop culture was not dominant in Finland: no radio stations played hip hop music and no major music festivals booked such artists. Blockfest wanted to change this. Over the years, Blockfest has played a pivotal role in the rise of Finnish hip hop culture. Both the genre and the festival itself have evolved from underground to more mainstream. The genre now dominates charts and Blockfest has established itself as one of the most major festivals in Finland.

WRISTBANDS

All ticket types (PDF, mobile, physical) must be exchanged for a wristband before the event. Wristband exchange can be done during the event week in advance at the designated pre-exchange points in Tampere (Mon-Thu) at Ratina Shopping Center and in Helsinki (Tue-Thu) at Mall of Tripla. Alternatively, wristbands can be exchanged during the festival weekend at Sorin Square.

Important! In addition to a wristband, you will need your entry ticket and a valid ID for wristband exchange and age verification at the gates.

The accessible wristband exchange point is located at the info point at the Laukontori entrance. Customers who need assistance can obtain their festival wristbands here, so they do not need to go to Sorin Square. Assistant wristbands are also distributed at the point located at the Laukontori entrance. The need for assistance must be proven if necessary with a disability or companion card or another official certificate.

TICKETS

All ticket types (pdf, mobile, and physical) are required to be exchanged to wristbands prior to the event. Tickets must be exchanged to wristbands personally, as the wristbands are attached upon collection. You may not collect wristbands for other festival guests to ensure all wristbands are attached properly and to prevent any possible misuse.

Please note, Exclusive tickets cannot be paid with culture voucher (Epassi, Smartum etc.).

- Private indoor restroom facilities at the Exclusive Area inside the stadium.
- Fast-lane entry.
- Fast-lane wristband exchange point.
- Free entry to the Official Afterparty at Nokia Arena, with a separate entry, on the day for which the festival ticket is purchased.
- Free cloakroom service at the festival. Please note, additional visits cost.

2 DAY FLEX ticket package includes:

- Free entry on both nights to the Official Afterparty at Nokia Arena, with a separate entry.
- Fast-lane Flex Entry into the festival site.
- Fast-lane wristband exchange point.
- Free cloakroom service at the festival. Please note, additional visits cost.
