SMS-ticket and PDF-ticket
You will receive your ticket to your e-mail or mobile phone by ordering these tickets. PDF- and SMS-tickets are available only
in part of the events. These availabilities are notified under the event.
SMS- and PDF-tickets can be ordered from Tiketti’s netshop www.tiketti.fi . Choose to pay with e-payment and
the delivery to be SMS- or PDF-ticket.
2D-bar code and ticket control
2D-bar code is different from a traditional bar code. It’s a square black and white grid.
The 2D-bar code of your
ticket will be checked with an electronic
device when entering the event. Checking is
made to be
sure that the ticket is for that exact event and it hasn’t been used yet. If the 2D-barcode for
some reason doesn’t show,
the
2D-bar code number will be checked manually.
SMS-ticket
SMS-ticket will be send to your mobile phone. The ticket contains 3-5 SMS messages.
Picture and text shows in almost all mobile phones. The phone needs to be able to receive messages
with Nokia’s pictures. Besides the 2D-barcode the ticket includes information in text
form; the clarification number, information about the event etc. Before the actual ticket you’ll
receive an info-message with a clarification number. Do not delete the info-message before receiving
the actual ticket.
Please note: Unfortunately the SMS-ticket does not work in most of the following mobile phones: iPhone, HTC, Siemens, Samsung and Nokia’s models 6100 and 5100. Most of the other mobile phones that are in use in Finland are able to receive and show an SMS-ticket but there are still some mobile phone models in use that does not support the programme. In that case you’ll get in with the clarification number you get with the info message.
Test the SMS-ticket
Send
an SMS-message PILETTI to number 16232.
You will receive an example
ticket to your phone only if your mobile
phone supports the programme in use.
Sending this PILETTI-message costs a normal charge of an SMS-message. In the future we might
send some information etc. to the numbers of those who have tryed this test ticket.
PDF-ticket
We’ll send a ticket as a PDF-file to the given e-mail address. To open the ticket you’ll need a free
Adobe Reader –program. You can download it here: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html?promoid=BUIGO
The ticket can be printed with color- or black and white printer. The main thing is that the 2D-
barcode is printing out well. Please remember, that if you choose to have a PDF-ticket, the printing
will be on your own responsibility.
A ticket printed in an outlet compared to SMS-/PDF-ticket
All types of tickets work the same way; you’ll get a ticket which entitles to an entry to an event.
You can give your SMS- or PDF-ticket to a friend just by forwarding it (sending an SMS the maximum
length of a message might be just 3 messages depending on a phone – the SMS-ticket may contain
more). After electronic checking the ticket will be cancelled so it’s possible to get into an event
only once with the same ticket.
