Steelfest Open Air 2014 festival's final program announced

Steelfest Open Air 2014- festival will be celebrated in Hyvinkää 16th to 17th of May. The last band bookings have now been finalized and daily performer lists are ready. New additions to the event are the Swedish Necrophobic as well as Finnish bands Archgoat and Hautakammio.

Founded in 1989, the Swedish Necrophobic recently announced the recruitment of their original lead vocalist Anders Strokirk, who sang in the band's 1993 debut album ”The Nocturnal Silence ".

Steelfest Demoni – band competition is now resolved! The audience and the jury picked from sixty different bands their top favorites, and from the top 10, their festival spot was redeemed by Jyväskylä’s death metal roller Apocryfal. The selection of the jury was influenced by the band's awesome and brutal sound as well as the band’s tight and prompt playing. Apocryfal gets the honor of opening Steelfest’s Saturday day and setting an aggressive death metal atmosphere for the day.

Last minute changes could not be avoided when the Ukrainian Nokturnal Mortum announced the cancellation of their Finland gig in the grounds of the unstable situation of their country and the changes in the lineup of the band.

The Steelfest’s after parties will be celebrated both evenings at restaurant Jalostamo, which is located conveniently right next to the festival area. Friday's after party’s music is covered by Kyöpeli and Maiden Hell, Saturday by Hellboozer Union and the Death -tribute band Suicide Machine.
