Set amid the beautiful landscape of coastal town Salacgriva, northern Latvia, Positivus Festival has maintained the unique charm generated right from its first year and keeps delivering an eclectic mix of musical genres and an inimitable atmosphere to the 20,000 festival goers passing through its gates each day.

The long summer nights all but guarantee plentiful sun, whilst the festival's location complete with a beach and lush woodland ensures a lungful or two of fresh Nordic air to go with the sunny spells. Those tired out by the music and entertainment can hide away in the sand dunes, take a nap in hammocks slung between the pine trees, or have a splash in the Baltic Sea.

Röyksopp, Editors, Hurts, James, Mark Ronson & The Business Intl and Beach House are among the acts confirmed for the largest music and arts festival in the Baltics - Positivus Festival, set to take place on 15 - 16 July in Latvia. Other acts who have been confirmed include OK Go, Pulled Apart By Horses, Frankie & The Heartstrings, King Charles, Austra, Dry The River, Chapel Club, Tunng and many more.

Positivus Festival offers a diverse program on two main stages, the Red Bull Music Academy Dance Marquee and the "I Love You" Stage with local and Baltic independent acts, a Theatre and Literature Stage, Tallinn Music Week Stage, the Body and Soul Area, Beach Stage, Cinema Tent and numerous indie market stands with handmade art, fashion and vintage. The festival camping site is open from 5.00 p.m. on Thursday, July 14th. The festival gates open at 12.00 noon on Friday, July 15th.

Positivus Festival is accessible from all of Europe via Riga International Airport, only 120 km away from the festival site, and by car via Highway E67 (Via Baltica). Positivus Shuttle bus service from Riga city centre is also available.
