This week's eventlist includes improvisation battles, various music shows and some sports as well. Tomorrow in Helsinki at Kuudes Linja the Canadian punk rock band White Lung plays their first show ever in Finland. And at Nosturi you get the punky vibe as well with "Impericon Never Say Die! Tour 2014" featuring bands like
Terror, Stick to your Guns and Capsize from the US and Comeback Kid and Obey the
Brave from Canada.
In Tampere tomorrow at Pakkahuone you can catch the noisy show by Swedish progressive metal band Opeth together with Alcest.
On Thursday Nov 13th at Elmun Baari, Helsinki, you get to enjoy the tunes of Color Dolor, an experimental pop group with a shamanistic twist. And at Ääniwalli, Helsinki, there's an interesting evening by We Jazz x Helsinki Design Week showing a collection of graphic knitwear, combined with Timo Lassy Trio's jazz.
From Thu 13th to Sat 15th in Helsinki at Stella Polaris' venue in Kaapelitehdas
you can follow the breathtaking improvisation battle called "Nordic
Theatresports Festival" in following languages: Danish, Finnish,
English, Norwegian and Swedish.
Eva & Manu, an interesting finnish-french pop folk couple, are performing at Tavastia club in Helsinki on Saturday Nov 15th. And on the same day Helsinki's bar LeBonk is the host of the new club concept by Heavyweight & Temper2 that brings carnival to the clubbers. It is the place to be for the EDM-lovers!
The Ghost Of Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band
is one of Finland's most valued tribute bands, honouring "The Boss" of
course, and they celebrate their ten-year anniversary with two gigs on
Fri 14th at Pakkahuone, Tampere and on Sat 15th in Karkkila's
Karkkilasali.
On Sunday 16th in Helsinki's Töölön kisahalli there's a basketball game between the local team Helsinki Seagulls and Namika from Lahti. After the game you can enjoy the sweet indie tunes of the American band tUnE-yArDs, warmed up by the Finnish rapper Rauhatäti at Tavastia Club.
